If your OEM disc licence is for Windows 7 Home Premium then you would have had Windows 10 Home. If it should be Windows 10 Home then you need to clean install Windows 10 Home to get back to the edition you have a licence for. What was the update, it should be shown in Settings > Update and security > View update history. (you may be able to uninstall the update) 0 comments No comments

Anonymous 2020-03-18T11:42:33+00:00 Hi Steve, This is Wil, one of the independent advisor and an expert with Windows 10. I understand your concern with activating Windows 10 using an OEM Windows 7. Since you still have the product key for the old Windows 7 OEM, you may try the troubleshooting steps on the link below for you to be able to uninstall and install the product key using CMD. https://www.maketecheasier.com/uninstall-window... This is actually a Non-Microsoft website but the troubleshooting steps are relevant to your concern. I hope my suggestions help you. If you need further assistance please do reply back and I will respond as quickly as possible. Have a nice day. Thanks, Wilfred P. Independent Advisor 0 comments No comments
