Write Speed Drop / Performance Drop After Windows 11 23h2 from windows 10 on SSDs
发布时间:2026-09-29 | 浏览:1
Wishing I would have stayed with Windows 10. Ever since updating to 11 the write speed on all of my SSD's has been cut to a point where many times installing programs times out. I've read the previous posts on here for this problem and have done clean boot with no positive results, all of my drivers are up to date. Just moving files around or deleting files sometimes takes up to 5 minutes for a single small file.

If you right click on recycle bin and change the size of the bin that can help. If you change the bin to auto delete instead of storeing in bin that will help. Depending on where you are saving a file and if Onedrive is involved transfer speeds can be slower. To Test if it is Onedrive you can try to make a folder outside of Onedrives path. As admin: cmd.exe cd C:\ md Meow cd Meow md mdownload exit. Save a file to C:\Meow now pretending it is 500mb meow.mp4. As admin: cmd.exe cd C:\Meow\ xcopy /j meow.mp4 C:\Meow\mdownload Now was that xcopy super fast compared to explorers transfer/copy speed? 0 comments No comments
