September 16, 2026 Updated September 2026 OnlyFangs 3 is happening. After months of uncertainty surrounding the future of Sodapoppin’s streamer-only World of Warcraft guild, we finally have confirmation: OnlyFangs will return for a third season in World of Warcraft: Forever Hardcore . Sodapoppin confirmed the plan following Blizzard’s reveal of World of Warcraft: Forever at BlizzCon 2026 and the announcement that Hardcore will be coming to the new version of WoW. Discussing the future of OnlyFangs, Sodapoppin was explicit: “We are going to do OnlyFangs 3. Absolutely.” The original TBC Hardcore version of OnlyFangs 3 was postponed earlier in 2026, but WoW Forever has now provided the guild with a new home. Here’s everything we currently know about OnlyFangs 3, WoW Forever Hardcore and when the new season could begin. Is OnlyFangs 3 Happening? Yes. Sodapoppin has confirmed that OnlyFangs 3 is happening. The confirmation came after Blizzard revealed World of Warcraft: Forever, the new version of WoW that expands on the original level 60 Azeroth with new content while retaining the foundations of Classic World of Warcraft. Blizzard has also confirmed that Hardcore is coming to WoW Forever . While discussing the announcement, Sodapoppin confirmed that the arrival of Hardcore means OnlyFangs can return for Season 3. Planning appears to be at an early stage. Sodapoppin said he now needs to begin working out how the event will operate, meaning details such as the full streamer roster, rules and exact start date have not yet been announced. When Is OnlyFangs 3? There is no confirmed OnlyFangs 3 start date yet . However, we now know that the event is being planned around WoW Forever Hardcore rather than The Burning Crusade. WoW Forever launches on November 4, 2026 , but Hardcore is not expected to be available immediately at launch. Sodapoppin has said he actually prefers Hardcore arriving later. It allows streamers to experience regular WoW Forever first before returning for a separate Hardcore event. That effectively gives WoW Forever and OnlyFangs their own separate content cycles rather than having OnlyFangs compete with the game’s initial launch. Until Blizzard provides a firm date for WoW Forever Hardcore and Sodapoppin announces the OnlyFangs schedule, any specific OnlyFangs 3 release date remains speculation. OnlyFangs 3 Will Take Place in WoW Forever Hardcore The biggest change is the game itself. OnlyFangs 3 was originally being developed as a Burning Crusade Hardcore event. That version was postponed indefinitely in March 2026 after concerns that TBC’s more punishing PvE content wasn’t a good fit for the OnlyFangs format. World of Warcraft: Forever changes the situation considerably. WoW Forever takes the original level 60 version of Azeroth and expands it with new content, including new zones, quests, dungeons and raids. For OnlyFangs, that creates something particularly valuable: a fresh version of Classic-style World of Warcraft built around content that players haven’t already spent decades solving.

Sodapoppin specifically discussed the appeal of playing Hardcore in a less solved environment, while also noting the advantages of allowing the normal WoW Forever community to experience the content first. What Happened to TBC Hardcore OnlyFangs? The original OnlyFangs 3 plan is no longer happening. Earlier in 2026, Sodapoppin explored bringing the guild back for a Hardcore run through The Burning Crusade. Ideas discussed for the TBC season included Horde versus Alliance competition, separate faction leadership, controlled progression and a streamer-focused roster. The problem was difficulty. OnlyFangs has traditionally combined experienced WoW players with streamers who may have relatively little experience with the game. Hardcore makes that combination entertaining because mistakes have permanent consequences. TBC’s dungeons and raids presented a much greater challenge for that format. The concern was that making TBC Hardcore viable would require too many experienced WoW players, removing much of the unpredictability that made OnlyFangs successful. The TBC plan was therefore shelved. With WoW Forever now announced, OnlyFangs 3 has effectively found its replacement format. Who Will Be in the OnlyFangs 3 Roster? There is currently no confirmed OnlyFangs 3 streamer roster . Sodapoppin has indicated that planning still needs to begin, so any lists currently claiming to show the final Season 3 roster should be treated cautiously. Previous seasons have mixed established WoW creators with major streamers who have considerably less experience with the game, and that difference in experience has been a major part of the appeal of OnlyFangs. We’ll update the roster as participants are actually confirmed. Will Sodapoppin Be in OnlyFangs 3? Yes. Sodapoppin is once again at the centre of the project. He confirmed the return himself and said that he now needs to start planning how the new season will work. He also discussed potentially working with other WoW creators to develop the event, describing it as something the WoW creator community would help shape rather than something designed entirely by himself. Could There Be an OnlyFangs Event Before Hardcore? Possibly, although nothing has been confirmed. During the same discussion, Sodapoppin talked about playing WoW Forever at launch with a smaller group of established WoW streamers before Hardcore arrives. Ideas for an OnlyFangs-adjacent event were also discussed, including smaller groups of creators competing through the new content. These were brainstorming ideas rather than confirmed plans, so they should not be considered part of OnlyFangs 3 at this stage. Latest OnlyFangs 3 Status As of September 2026 , the situation is: OnlyFangs 3: Confirmed Game: World of Warcraft: Forever Format: Hardcore Start date: Not yet announced Streamer roster: Not yet announced Sodapoppin involved: Yes Original TBC Hardcore plan: Shelved For the first time since the TBC version was postponed, the question is no longer whether OnlyFangs 3 will happen. OnlyFangs 3 is coming. The big question now is when WoW Forever Hardcore begins — and which streamers will join Sodapoppin for the new season.
